     These are a few of good videos on Youtube which I personally like much.  I really love to listen to these songs even if I'm not sad or wanna have time for myself reflecting on my deeds done.  I like much the lyrics and the rhythm of the music as well as the voices of the artists.

PhilPOP Music Festival

I'm quite interested, are you also?

Well, songwriter's out there it's our time to shine in the First Philippine Popular (PhilPop) Music festival competition.

The competition will start on March 1, 2012, where songwriter’s can submit a maximum of 2 original, unpublished songs in Tagalog or in English and in any popular  music genre which should not exceed 4 minutes each.  Deadline of submission is on May 10, 2012.  Fourteen finalists will compete in the finals night on July 14, with the non-winners receiving P50,000 each.  The 2^nd and 3^rd placers will each receive a trophy and P500,000 and P250,000 respectively.  And the grand winner will take home P1million and trophy.  P200,000 cash prize will also be given to the PEOPLE’S CHOICE award determined through online and SMS votes.

Once again, I’m calling out all amateur and professional composers who are Filipino or of Filipino descent and residing in the Philippines to join in the said competition and let your composed songs be heard over the airwaves.  Not only that, let us be a good example of our generation with our kind of music.  The MUSIC that encourages everyone to live life joyfully whatever we’re facing every day.

                First time I saw this video today and I feel happy knowing Hayley Westenra was among the female group called CELTIC WOMAN.  The violin instrumental by Mairead Nesbitt did amaze me.  It was like I was filled with the emotional impact of the songs from the heart of these women; I was overwhelmed with surprise especially towards the end of the music video, the part of violin instrumental with matching dance steps to make the performance lively.  Really amazing video!  The one female group you’ll love to listen to repeatedly.  Check this video and you’ll see what I mean…..
